Let's look at the current world

As of now, the world has a population of approximately 7.8 billion people. The planet is divided into seven continents: Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Europe, North America, Australia/Oceania, and South America, with various nations and territories existing on each of these continents.

The world is separated into 195 countries, which include 193 United Nations member states and two observer states – the Holy See (Vatican City) and Palestine. Each country is typically organized under a specific form of government, such as a democracy, monarchy, or autocracy, with varying political systems and degrees of wealth and stability.

Geographically, the world is diverse, with distinct ecosystems and climates ranging from polar ice caps and tundra to rainforests, deserts, savannas, and mountainous regions.

The superpowers, or countries with significant global influence and strong military, economic, and political capabilities, are typically regarded as the United States, China, and Russia. Other major players in the international arena include the European Union (a political and economic association of 27 countries), and emerging countries like India, Brazil, and South Africa. Collectively, these influential countries are often referred to as the G20, a group of twenty major countries that collaborate on global economic, political, and development challenges.

Presently, the world is interconnected via technology and communication systems, with many individuals and organizations participating in a globally connected economy. Various global challenges and crises also affect the modern world, such as climate change, income inequality, terrorism, migration, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. International organizations, like the United Nations, aim to address these pressing issues by facilitating global cooperation and dialogue.
