The words are no sooner out of your mouth, then Sarah is on top of you. Her hand is on your belt and has it half unbuckled before you push her back.

"I didn't say right now!" you tell her. "I've got to get to class."

"It won't take long," she says, throwing herself at you again.

With great ****, you push her back a second time, and say, "I really have to get to class. Hold that thought, though!"

Never in a million years would you have thought that you'd be saying no to sexual advances from a girl like Sarah! If she hadn't drained you just a few hours ago, you probably wouldn't have had the willpower to pull it off.

You go to your first day of classes, but you don't know how much you got out of them. Your mind was never far from Sarah... and Kendra... and the way your life had just become so incredibly complicated.

At lunch you see Kendra sitting by herself, and you take your tray to her table and join her. Her eyes light up when she sees you.

"I was hoping to see you today," she says. "We must have worn you out yesterday with all that moving, because I could hear you snoring while I was getting ready this morning."

You are embarassed to learn that she heard you snore, but given all the activity in your room a short time before that, you're thankful that she didn't hear more.

"Sarah is really taken with you," Kendra says, causing you to nearly **** on your soda.

"Why do you say that?" you ask, cautiously.

"She just keeps talking about you, asking me questions about you... that sort of thing. I asked her if she had a thing for you, but she just said, 'No.... I just view him as a buddy.'"

You feel your stomach tighten up as you hear that.

"Are you ok, Connor? You look like you're not feeling well."

"I'm ok... probably just a little overwhelmed by the first day of classes."

The conversation moves from there to a comparison of each other's schedules, but you only keep half of your thoughts on what Kendra is saying, as you think about your "buddy" back at the dorm and what might await you.

You get to the end of your classes and feel weighted down by the amount of reading you have to do and by the complications that await you back at the dorm. You consider going to the library to study, instead of your room.
