Leave the bar

I left the bar, while leaving Jacob by himself. He usually is able to find some entertainment by himself.

Fifteen minutes into the walk, I saw a friend of mine sitting on the curb with her feet planted in the street and face in her folded arms. This wasn?t a good sight. I sat next to her and tapped her on her shoulder, which made head bolt up and look at me with great suspicion. Once she realized that it was I ? Philip the almighty friend to all those I meet ? who tapped her shoulder, she lowered her guard. With tired and glassy eyes, she asked, ?Oh hey, what?s up??

?Nothing much Carol, how about you?? I asked, attempting the friendly tone once again that I am famous for.

This dark pink-headed person that sat next to me did not look in the best of shape. She wears her hair usually past her shoulders, but above the upper torso, but it is obvious that she cuts her hair by herself; it looks really ragged and choppy. Most of the time she wears a Green Lantern baseball cap, but that day she just wasn?t wearing one. In fact, she wasn?t wearing her usual outfit. Most of the time she wears a punk rocker type of outfit ? chains, black denim shirt and jeans, a short leather jacket, boots with metal plating on the outside toe, and so on. Here, she was just wearing black sleeveless shirt, black jeans, and flip-flops. Flops were the equivalent of a green thumb on her. Though I will say this, that shirt she wore really revealed how much she was packing in the chest. With her leather jacket, I assumed that she had a small chest. In reality, she had a C set, and had a nice view of them. I wouldn?t ever admit that to her face? she would knock my block off.

She merely scoffed, ?I?m fucking fine Phil.? I groaned in annoyance ? yes, I am easily annoyed when people become difficult ? and waved my hands in the air, ?Oh goodie gum-drops then! How about a visit to the toy store and buy some laser tag gear and go all out tonight?!?

Finally I had gotten a chuckle out of her. She sighed and slumped her head on my shoulder ? she never does that, I believed that she was on ****.

?I got dumped by the girlfriend today.?

Oh. Yeah, did I forget to mention that she?s not interested in guys too much in that way?

I frowned, gave her a light hug with the arm closest to her, and said, ?Well, it?s not the end of the world.?

She gave me this scowl like she was going to bite my entire face off ? that was a legitimate worry. I tried to laugh it off, ?You are an attractive woman, so it?s not like you can?t find another girl!?

I was given a frown then she slumped her head back on my shoulder, ?I dunno. I just need time to think I guess.?
