It's been awhile, but you've definitely earned it. You don't obtain a new spell this time around, though that isn't all you gain as your level increases. Your skills, strength, and stamina all improve as your power grows. You're not certain how much it should grow by, though you definitely feel it.

You wake up groggy, but it's because you managed to sleep in quite late. You make your way down to the main room of the inn, and there Bibi is speaking with the woman behind the counter. There are a few people here eating brunch, though it's otherwise not nearly as bustling as last night. She hurries up to you though when she sees you, and the rest of your party appears to be waiting as well.

"The Heroes of Brumberg, together again," Bibi says.

"You're gonna make me blush," you reply.

"It's about time you got up," Niki says. "We've been waiting for ages."

"She literally just came downstairs a minute before you did," Eva mutters.

"Shush!" She grabs Eva's ear and stares down at her.

Eva just looks back up to her with a smug face. "Sleepy head."

"It is good to see you well," Amara says. "Good morning, Mr. Warren."

Alice is quiet, though it's different this time. She looks lost in thought, but it isn't sadness. You're not exactly certain what's going on in her mind. You do have an idea, however. You walk up to her, place a hand on her shoulder, and smile warmly. "Hey, Alice?"

She looks up in surprise. "Yes?"

"You did amazing yesterday. Thank you for coming with us."

For a long moment, she stares into your eyes. Then she throws herself into your chest and hugs you tight.

Niki laughs. "This is nice, but I'm aching to get back home to see the other girls. I want to make sure nothing happened while we were gone."

You pat the back of Alice's head. "I agree. Thanks for everything, Bibi."

Bibi giggles. "Hey. You're the one that helped me. I hope I see you all again one day. Where exactly are you all from?"

"Avana. We have a manor there."

"A manor?! Wow. And you have other girls there? This is sounding a little bit, uh..."

"Please don't get the wrong idea about me."

Niki lays her arm around your shoulder and pulls you in. "That's right. A whole harem of women. The one outside doesn't even wear clothes."

"We're leaving now!" You struggle to get away, though her strength is too much.

After your goodbyes, it's back on the road. But even Dixby waves you off as you head to the outskirts. You thank her for the potion, and she replies with a grin. Of course she knew.

Sadly there is no caravan to ride this time around. Walking isn't slower. In fact, it's faster most of the time. It's just a lot more exhausting then laying back in a carriage.

You chat as you go, as one does. You learn that Niki levelled up again as well, matching your own as a 6th level Warrior. For what she's been doing, she definitely earned it. Eva and Amara levelled up too, making them 5th level at last. You aren't certain exactly how Alice functions. She's grown in her own way you're certain. Not much else happens on the road on your way back home. It's a actually a relief. You welcome a couple days without monster attacks or some strange conflict to solve. Sometimes, you just make it home all right.
