Laura is a witch too

-You bitch, yelled Camilla, looking at Laura with hatred. I'll kill you.

-I'd like to see you try, sneered Laura, who had stepped towards the intruder, now standing between her and Peter.

Camilla raised her arms, creating a fireball out of thin air, and threw it towards her rival. Instead of bursting into flames like one would have expected, Laura grabbed the fireball in mid-air, briefly chanted some ancient formula, which caused it to shrink. With a mocking look in her eyes, she took the small fire ball and put it in her mouth, before chewing it briefly and swallowing it.

-Hmmm, spicy, she moaned, licking her fingers. Is that the best you can do?

-Laura, said Peter, who was starting to freak out, what's going on?

-It's okay, honey.

Laura snapped her fingers, freezing her husband as well as the whole world surrounding her and her rival.

-Just some witch business, she added, slowly walking towards Camilla, who was already raising her arms to prepare her next attack.

-You don't stand a chance against me. I'm more powerful than you can imagine.

Laura yawned, angering her rival even more.

-Oh honey, you have no idea who you're dealing with. You know, I've been married with Peter for years, and not once did he suspect I had any special powers. The fact that his dick inexplicably grew larger after we met or that he managed to remain in such good shape after all this time just came from his good genes, according to him. So I guess congratulations are in order. You managed to ruin twenty years of secrets. -You won't do shit, said Camilla, her eyes full of hatred. Once I turn you into a pile of ash, I'll erase your children too. I'll change all Peter's memories, so he believes we have always been together.

Laura frowned. The harmless looking housewife suddenly seemed more threatening, as the air around her suddenly got darker, as she was taking pure magic energy from her surroundings.

-You could have used your powers to get successful in life. Damn, you could have become the fucking president if you had wanted to. But no, you had to come here and threaten my family. It seems Peter really has a thing for psychotic witches. Anyway, let's get this over with.
