Laughs it off

John stood there a bit nervous after what he said to his best friend's mom. There was a second where glances were only exchanged and then as if a hammer smashing through the wall, Jane spoke up.

"Well, that's a good one. hahaha, ohhhhh I missed you John." She turned and left the room and walked back into the kitchen. "Everyone's out in the garage," she shouted from the other room, while giggling a bit to herself over the someone half her age just hitting on her. Someone she had known forever and was her son's friend. "You should probably head out there. The other boys will be here later, but Jack and Nick are out there. Joan is around here somewhere too, just have to find where she's at."

"Ummm....yeah, yeah. how is Joan? Glad she could come over too."

"Ohhhh, you know, the usual. boyfriend troubles and such. She's not in the best mood right now. You should go say hi to her too before you head out back." Jane said as she turned the faucet on and started washing the few dishes that were left in the sink.
