Lacewing, henchwoman to a would-be villainous overlord

In the world of supervillains, there are those who tower above the rest. Such a figure is the immortal Skylord, self-proclaimed Emperor of the Air, who has waged a relentless war upon the world with his mighty airship fleet for a century and a half, in an effort to establish his "rightful kingdom". Mysterious, brilliant, and determined, he has regularly challenged the world's heroes to defeat him, and is considered one of the most dangerous villains alive.

And there's you, Joan Smith, his henchwoman Lacewing. You are one of a "matching" set, though your counterpart Leatherwing is a deadly combat expert who acts as Skylord's chief enforcer and isn't that friendly to you. (Frankly, you are terrified of her.) Your jobs are lighter--handle the paperwork, appointments, and so forth that come with running an evil criminal empire--and frequently symbolic--standing on his right side during the broadcasts of his latest villainous declaration of intent wearing your exceedingly revealing outfit.

It beats being a Reno cocktail waitress.
