Kya

As Kya entered the quaint coffee shop, she immediately realized why Lori wanted to come here. Aside from the great alternative rock in the background; everybody here seems to be pretty 'hip'. Kya, not far into her 20's herself, found herself kind of at home, enjoying the mellow atmosphere.

Kya looked at both ends of the cafe, but to no avail. Lori was late, like always. Kya grabbed a booth by the back and took a seat. She took a second to admire the environment and to peoplewatch, before pulling her phone out to see if she had any messages. Nothing.

With a heavy sigh, she puts her phone away and approaches the front cashier, ordering an espresso. As she waits, she took her phone out again. She decided to creep Lori again, to see what she's missed out on again. And immediately, a picture caught your eye. Lori full fledged making out with another girl you don't know. "I never knew she was like that!" She thought as her name was called to collect her drink.

As she sits back down, she takes a sip of her drink before pulling her phone back up. Kya was shocked, Lori had never hinted at ever being into women as well as guys! She didn't know if she was more upset that Lori didn't tell her, or jealous that it wasn't her with Lori in the first place. As she's looking at the picture on her phone, somebody approaches her from behind her shoulder.
