Krissy walks towards the bar

The bitter cold wind continued to numb Krissy skin. Standing in the dark, her hands and feet began to hurt from the cold, while her nipples stood straight out against her shirt in the chill.

Looking once more in each direction along the empty main road, and back at her trailer home where she could see the light of the television illuminating one window, Krissy leaned in to thw wind and started down the main road heading towards the only place still open at this time of night, the town bar.
