"Well...I just want to make it clear that I'm gay...but..." I look down at my hands nervously as I try to gather the right words. "Go on, I'm not going to judge you, this is a safe place," she leans in close to me, her hand on my knees. I let out a sigh and continue, "I'm not gay or anything, but I always wondered what it felt like to be a woman. Every girl I've ever dated, I've always had this deep connection to her. Like, I would have weird cramps during the daytime and when I would get home, she would tell me how her period cramps were killing her that day. Or it would be a headache, or something. I made the mistake of bringing it up once with one girl and she called me weird and broke up with me the next day. So I've always wondered if my connection was some supernatural link or something and wanted to know the stuff that was happening to me was what a women felt as they went on about their days." I look up at her, exhausted and wondering what was going through my best friends mind. All she does is smile, leaning back into the couch before speaking. "That sounds pretty interesting. The human mind is a wonderful thing, still so many things yet to be discovered about it. So it's totally possible your suspicion about your ability is correct. But as for your curiosity about what it would feel like to be a woman....you know what, let me just show you." I look at her confused, about to ask her what she meant when she closed her eyes and reached out with her hand, touching my temple before my eyes lost focus and I blacked out.
