"What app is that?"
Kevin froze. He was walking through the hall, going to grab some food from the fridge. That voice was his sister, Kelly. She was talking to John, an old family friend who'd moved into their town for college. He wasn't eavesdropping! But Kevin was a bit uncomfortable with their relationship. He'd never liked John - the tall white guy had always teased him when their parents were hanging out.
Since he'd moved, he seemed to be spending a lot of time with Kelly. Too much time...so, Kevin would loosely pay attention to him.
"It's called SMASH. It's a dating app. It looks like a regular app, unless you're a white guy. Or an Asian girl."
"Oh?"
"Then it matches you up for hookups. You can also post pictures to show other people what you've been doing."
The blood started beating inside Kevin's head. WTF? What was his sister gonna respond? He waited for a while, but nothing. A few minutes later, they started talking again, but this time it was about John's classes. Kevin decided to go back to his room...to investigate.
