Kenji

Kenji, a local squire was currently walking through the place. Hoping to find the group, that had just suddenly vanished today. All of them healthy, young and just reached adolescence - before they had suddenly disappeared into this 'forest' - before that, having visited this place many times over the years.

As it was, he was curious to find out what dwelled in this place, that captured young males for whatever purpose. In the forest however, something had caused these strings of disappearances of these young men who had dared entered it. But, it was not what was causing them to disappear.

More so it was WHOM was making them disappear into the deeper part of the forest as they walked inside. As Kenji entered the forest, a series of something akin to vines began to slowly move around the forest. The objects seemingly slowly following the young squire who entered the forest.

The object of vines connected themselves to a larger being that was waiting for the young squire to enter the forest deeper. The creature watching from the shadows of the forest, emitting a pheromone subtly into the air as the wind blew through the forest, helping to loosen and make his actions less logical.

Kenji kept following about, until eventually the air started feeling heavier and he started mostly walking in circles without knowing what was going on. As such he eventually ended up tripping over a vine, that had been slithering nearby.

Making him fall over and land on his back with a groan, as he noticed the vine that had been in front of his foot - as he soon started unraveling it or at least trying to unravel it. Not thinking, that the slimy feeling, made it be something far different than a simple tree root.
