Keep the pair of fives

“And I’ll take three,” you say, as you deal out everyone’s replacement cards.

You look at your new cards and are glad to see another five among them. “Three of a kind,” you say, laying your hand down.

“I’ve got aces,” Lin declares hopefully.

You both turn towards Claire who takes a peek at her last card. You see a big smile cross her face. “A flush,” she shouts, showing her five spades. You both look over at Lin and her face goes even paler as she realizes that she’s lost again. “Oh, dear,” she murmurs softly.

“Where did you learn to play poker?” Claire asks her.

“Come on, Claire, a pair of aces is a perfectly fine hand,” you say, defending Lin. “She just got unlucky.” Unlucky or not, you’re still looking forward to seeing Lin without her skirt on.

Tentatively, Lin reaches down to her waist and unclips the fastener on her skirt. Then she pulls it off, revealing a pair of plain white panties. She is still sitting with her knees together, so you can’t see much.

“It’s your turn to deal now, Lin,” Claire says, pushing the cards towards Lin. “Deal yourself some good cards.”
