Kayo knows she's been spotted.

When the black man's eyes finally settle, they are looking straight at hers. Kayo feels a surge of adrenaline as a toothy grin spreads across the man's face.

"Stay put, I'll be back for you," He says with perhaps a little too much enthusiasm to the plump blonde. The man springs to his feet, hitting the ground with the speed and intensity of a cheetah.

A startled scream, more like a squeak, escapes Kayo's lips as she rolls to her feet. Her adrenaline driving her, she begins to run with a speed she didn't know she possessed, though her diminutive size leaves her running much slower than she would like.

Risking a glance over her shoulder, she sees that the man's ground eating pace is casual, with no visible effort on his part, the distance closing between them slowly in spite of her frantic efforts to flee.

There's no way I can out run him! I'll wear myself completely out long before he even breaks a sweat! I have to think of a way to out think him! Her mind races in a panic. My dad is SO going to kill me!
