Just the Janitor.

As you start to make your way to the lit cubicle you hear the distinctive noise of a vacuum cleaner. The cubicle is on the way to the lift and you nod and smile in greeting to the middle aged male Janitor as you walk past him.

"Good night" you say to him.

"Night to you too sir!" the man replied warmly.

Once home you cook yourself a frozen ready meal and go over your presentation notes. After practising your speech in front of the mirror numerous times you power down the laptop and collapse onto the sofa and flick the tv onto a sports channel.

You find you thoughts focusing onto Lusi, wondering about what she was going to say in your office earlier. You check your watch. It was just gone 10PM. You were seriously tempted to ring her to give her the good news about the presentation as a pretext to finding out what she wanted to tell you earlier.
