Just the Beginning

Such a request was very rare and would result in someone getting fired if to wasn't seen as important enough, but the Meeting was called. The HR Manager a Ms Callen walked int he board room and in formed them she had received a complaint that could cost the firm millions in cash as well a enough bad press as to serious downgrade their reputation as the city's top firm!

The Senior Partner and founder was an older gentleman, who looked at Ms Callen who was perhaps in her late twenties but top of her class and said, "Ms Callen, if some fool has harassed a employee or pinched a bottom, can his ass and make sure the offended party is made happy, unless this is much bigger, you are wasting out time."

"Ok, so a Lawyer, who had a few too many Margarita's sent an e-mail to two of the Para-legals teasing them about her Mexican vacation. At best you should send Jennifer a email asking her not to do tease the Para-legals, I don't see why you are bring this to us?"

"If it were just that, I wouldn't have bothered anyone here and asked Jenifer personally. I am well aware that she is an up and coming star performer for the firm. Thats the reason we're all here is this."

We can keep paying her until she's diagnosed and then she either gets treatment and we demote her to remote office with the provision that she never ever sends another email like that and under circumstances ever contacts those two para-legals, or anyone else at this firm with such offers, comments or videos! If you gentlemen all agree? I'm sure you can all see the Public Relations nightmare that this incident becoming Public knowledge? The firms name would **** through the mud and instead of the old 'sleeping her way to top' scenario, we'd get painted as the firm that allows this 'kinky behavior' and it will suggested that your stunningly beautiful lawyer, handing your Divorce might want to sleep with your wife, to men. The Managers and Partners all paled at the thought of the story hitting the Media and the fact that it could cost them Millions in lost revenue and clients! Ms Callen was instantly authorized to express to the Para-legals how shocked the management was, and to insure them thatchy wouldn't;t be seeing or dealing with Ms West ever again. As well as offering the each $100,000.00 to show how sorry the Firm was the incident, as well as having them sign a NDA to put this ugly incident behind them.

The two Para-legals were agreeable and accepted as long as the NDA stated that if Ms Jennifer West violated the agreement, the NDA would be instantly null and void! Ms Callen knew not to push the point and agreed on behalf of the Firm and made a note to let the Managers and partners know of this requirement.
