Just let it happen(leave)

You decide if it’s that easy for your girlfriend to cheat on you than you don’t care to stick around anymore. So, you turn and head towards the living room before you hear anymore of what’s going on in Amanda’s room. You don’t even care anymore if you ever see her again.

When you reach the living room, you notice that Amanda’s mom is still there and she’s smiling at you. You’re so upset about what’s happening in Amanda’s room that you don’t care or even want to figure out why she’s smiling. You just hang your head low and head towards the front door. You think you hear someone say wait, but instead open the door and leave.

The walk home seems longer than normal, but it doesn’t matter. Nothing matters anymore. Your relationship is over. What’s the point in caring? You don’t even notice the car coming right at you as you step off the curb to cross the street. There’s some bright light that surrounds you and a loud noise before everything goes dark.
