Just before the car.

No reason to cancel the nice meal you had or the fun mayhem in the restaurant. You'll rewind and plan to to stop just as you got out of the place.

The first surprise is that what happens outside of time isn't reminded you just appear back in the car at the point you stopped time, then you experience something better than any roller-coaster. A reverse speed chase through town to the restaurant.

At this point when you exit the car (enter it in reverse) you wait a bit until before you ask the car to the valet and press the button again.

Your first worry is Mindy, she wasn't touching the watch the whole time.

"Do you remember... " you begin to ask but can't finish because your mouth is now otherwise occupied being stuck to hers.

"That was awesome!" she tells you once she allows you to breathe again. "We can do everything! We can study, rewind and have fun. We can watch two live shows on the same time slot. We can wait for the lottery number and go play them. We can get into crazy shenanigans and skip any consequences."

"And all of that would be a million times less fun if I didn't have you by my side. Mindy, can I move in with you? You know I can pay my share of the rent and we'll have more time together. Besides it will look better if we already live as a couple when we win the lottery. " you ask her.

" Of course you can! But on one condition, you have to keep making our life a whimsical and devious adventure. " she replies.

" Like that? " you ask her. You are both a few blocks away from the restaurant and her white dress is nowhere to be seen. "We should go home, the clock is ticking."
