Jump Into an Open Window

You jump quickly into an open window and duck out of sight as you listen to the hoof beats gallop by. The horses pass you and to your relief the sound of horses does not return to haunt you. You sigh as you look around this room that you've jumped into.

It's clean and neat with a prissy quality to the furnishings. Just then you realize that you've stumbled into the chamber of young maid. You see her sleeping soundly in her bed through the gauzy film of a curtain.

Dawn is still a long time off, but you'd best be out of town before the sun rises to stay ahead of the mayor's men.
