Joy and Terri find a tech demo

"Are you sure Lynn-- err, D.Va will be alright without us?" Terri asked, following her friend through a series of booths displaying all sorts of interesting items, software and hardware alike. Joy just waved her off.

"Yeah, she'll be fine," she said, looking for all the world like she didn't care one way or another, "Lynn gets like this some times. The best thing to do is is to give her some space. She'll come around eventually, and she'll apologize later."

"...Apologize for what?"

"Hey!" Joy said, all of a sudden and much louder than before, "Look at that!" Taking Terri by the arm, Joy lead her over to a large display area, where a crowd of people were watching a display of what looked to be some form of VR headset.

"Oh, I've heard of this brand!" Terri said, pointing to a banner with their logo.

"Yeah, Argus Technology has been doing some insane stuff with gaming hardware," Joy explained, "I'd heard they were moving on to VR but I had no idea they'd have something to show off so soon!" The girls watched as people were brought in in groups of four, two pairs against each other in a pretty intense looking shooter, but all the participants seemed to be having a blast. Joy looked at Terri, Terri looked back at Joy, and they nodded, immediately zipping over to get in line. The wait felt like nothing, getting to watch the people play the game, but as they got up to take their turn....
