Josie, Night Before.

Trixie coasted to a stop in front of the house and look at the lawn slightly surprised. The For Sale sign was gone. The house had been on the market for at least five years now. Not that there was anything wrong with the house or the neighborhood, Trixie liked living there after all. She thought back. It was the first time she had ridden her bike down this street since summer break started, so whoever bought it moved in over the summer. As she stood there thinking, someone came out the front door and walked down the driveway to the trashcan.

"Hey!" She called out. The tall woman stopped, looked around and then pointed at herself. "Yeah, you. Do you live here?" The woman hesitated for a bit before starting back down the drive and replied, "Yes, we just moved in this summer." As the woman came closer Trixie took her time examining her clothing. To her surprise the woman was wearing a rather bulky sweatshirt despite the warm evening. And she realized that the woman was actually younger than Trixie first thought, an impression that had been aided by the woman's immense height, nearly two feet above Trixie's own. "I'm Josie Rider."

"Trixie Wisps," She shook the offered hand, "So what year are you in?" Trixie asked, curious.

"I'm starting my senior year over at Archer Creek." Was the quite reply.

"Me too. Go Rapids!" Trixie cheered, "'Cept our power-fucking team always sucks. Do you compete?" Josie shook her head. "Me neither, not competitive enough to really enjoy it."

Josie tossed the bag she was holding into the trashcan, than hesitated for a moment before turning back to Trixie, "Would you, maybe, wanna, come inside? For some ice cream?"
