You jump up and try to grab the amulet, but Mr. Josten sees you and gets it first.

"Hm, now why would you want this?" he asks, suspicion furrowing his brow.

Thinking fast, you respond, "I thought it looked pretty and I wanted to look at it."

A devilish grin crosses his face, "I have to go teach class soon, but if you really want to look at it, feel free to stop by my office after school and we can... talk about it." He winks then steps from the room.

Well, now you have a plan to get it back, but what are you going to do with the time? It's not yet lunch, and you have to wait untill three.
