Jessica takes off Trish's body

The Trish-shaped Jessica — well, she’s evidently used the brown pen on herself because she has Trish’s body language and more, probably Trish’s memories — sighs, and presently says, “Maybe we could get the original Trish to be someone else!”

“Jessica,” you say, “why would the real Trish want to be anyone but Trish? And we’d still have to turn someone else into a people suit. At least it wouldn’t be a friend like Trish, but I’m not big on the idea even if it’s someone we don’t like...”

“Let me concentrate,” says the apparent Trish. “Let myself really think like the girl I am right now.”

“Okay,” you say. You wait as “Trish” sits there, eyes shut. She seems entirely the real Trish, not a trace of Jessica to her. You can almost sense the mental machinery at work. Suddenly the girl’s eyes pop open and in purely Trish tones she cries out, “I’ve got it! You can be Jessica, and Jessica can be Trish! Because Trish honestly wants to be someone else! So badly...”

“That still wouldn’t be right,” you say. “Who does she want to be, anyway?”

“You might not believe this, David,” she says, “but Trish wants to be you!”
