Jessica completes her transformation

Several years have passed since Jessica became an immortal. Not long after her transformation, she left the city, cutting all ties with her past. Jessica wanders, moving cities every few weeks, sampling the local populace. Sometimes she'll enthrall a human companion, sometimes she'll go solo.

With each new kill, it became easier and easier for Jessica to suppress the last vestiges of her humanity. At this stage, they are almost completely gone. She feels no guilt, no shame, no compassion. Jessica is truly free - her nights are a nonstop feast of blood and sex.

She is free, but she isn't happy. In fact, Jessica doesn't feel very much of anything any more. At first, every night was a party. Over time, the exhilaration faded into tedium. Jessica is bitter and alone. As her humanity died, so did her spirit. She goes through the motions, sleep, fuck, kill - more automaton than individual. There is certainly physical reward, but she feels nothing deeper. There is only lust and hunger.

Jessica has been burning through this coastal city for the last couple of weeks. She took a companion this time, a twisted emo girl named Violet. Violet is fairly insipid, truth be told, but can be convenient.

Jessica and Violet are in a non-descript apartment. Several bodies are scattered around, their throats ripped out. Violet drags a terrified girl by the hair to Jessica, the last survivor. Jessica smiles, weakly, at Violet, and grabs the girl. Jessica drives her fangs into the girls' neck, and she bleeds out in a few minutes.

Jessica is struck by how dull this has all become, how joyless. She grabs a surprised Violet by the throat, and bites into her. "Mistress, no..." Violet says weakly as she is exsanguinated by Jessica.

Jessica exits the apartment, climbing the emergency stairs to the roof. She lies down and waits for the sun.
