Jessica chooses Elizabeth

Jessica mulls the offer over in mind. Her internal monologue is screaming "go with Mary"! But for some reason, Jessica can't say that out loud. It is as if there is some invisible **** binding her in unearned loyalty to her maker. Mary watches Jessica softly, her expression neutral. A feeling of longing for Elizabeth, discomfort at their distance, has been steadily building in Jessica since she arrived at the penthouse. She can't explain it, but she _feels _it. She feels _tugged _back to Elizabeth.

"Mary...I'm sorry...I can't do it. I need to go back to Elizabeth." Jessica stares at the floor as Mary looks over her with visible disappointment in her face.

Mary places a hand on Jessica's shoulder and says "I understand. I am still drawn to her as well. If you ever change your mind, one day, I'll find you. Just remember that there is another path for you Jessica" Mary says, consoling a distraught Jessica. Mary pats her gently on the shoulder. "We should get you back, I suppose" Mary says wistfully, staring in the other direction.

Mary takes Jessica back down to the garage. They enter her Lexus, and Jessica is blindfolded once more. They drive in stony silence for a while before coming to a stop. "You can remove your blindfold. I can't risk getting any closer, Jessica" Mary says, unlocking the car doors. "Walk down this road for half a mile and you'll come to a long driveway on your right. That's Elizabeth's den" Mary says coldly. "Remember what we talked about, Jessica". With that, Mary gives Jessica a chaste kiss on the forehead, and points out of the car.

Jessica climbs out of the car, she turns around to say goodbye to Mary who has already sped off. She walks down the road, finds the mansion, and knocks on the door. A human **** in a risque maid outfit opens the door and regards her cautiously. "Can I help you, Miss?" the **** says.

"Let her in, you stupid cow" Elizabeth says from another room. Jessica stumbles in. Closer to Elizabeth, she is already feeling more at ease. Calmer.

Elizabeth glides into the room. Behind her are two vampiresses, who Jessica had seen before. One is a tall athletic looking redhead, the other a petite Asian with black bangs. "Jessica, you've met Catherine and Miko by now, right?" Elizabeth asks.

"Yes, I've seen them around." Jessica replies. Miko and Catherine each kiss Jessica, and then Elizabeth.

"So, what did Mary have to say for herself." Elizabeth asks, venom dripping from every word.

Jessica tells them everything.

"Mary is not what she seems, child" Elizabeth says, but doesn't elaborate. Jessica does not push.

"I'm sorry, Elizabeth, I don't know where she took me" Jessica apologizes. Why am I saying this Jessica wonders, she didn't even ask!

"I didn't expect you would." Elizabeth grabs the poor girl who opened the door from behind, pulling her head back and exposing her neck to Jessica. "Let's the get taste of that disgusting bagged blood out of your mouth, dear." Jessica isn't that thirsty but also doesn't see any point in disappointing Elizabeth. She bites the girl, drinking deep. The stale blood bags really are incomparable next to fresh, lacking any of the vibrancy and richness of the real thing. Elizabeth picks up the maid's wrist and bites in.

"You've had quite the night, Jessica, let's get you cleaned up and to bed.

Jessica and Elizabeth strip and shower together. Elizabeth and Jessica arrive at what has become Jessica's bedroom. "I knew you'd come back to me, my child" Elizabeth coos.

Elizabeth pushes Jessica inside, her hand cupping Jessica's sex while the other plays with the crack of her ass. The vampires kiss, before Elizabeth pushes Jessica onto the bed. Elizabeth straddles Jessica's face, bending over to take Jessica's sex into her mouth. They climax together, cuddling in the afterglow.

Jessica is exhausted and falls asleep the second her head hits the pillow. She sleeps deeply but is tortured by bad dreams. All of the joie de vivre from the hunt earlier has melted away, transformed into anxiety as she replays the night's murders and her clandestine exchange with Mary in her head over and over again.
