Jessica, a silver banded cheerleader

Jessica Chambers' life had always been one of easy going, thanks in no small part to her silver command band.

She was a tall girl with bright blonde hair and a large bust, something she was very proud of. She was also pretty much in charge of the school.

Due to gold bands being the highest colour available, it also meant that they were the rarest bands. It was believed that only one in one hundred people are born gold banded, meaning the smaller the community the less likely a gold band lived there. And in the little town Jessica lived in, not a single gold band could be found.

That meant the silver bands, which there were a few, ruled the roost.

Jessica was head cheerleader and thanks to her silver band, she was the top of the pile. There were several red bands in her school, who were ironically all jocks and fellow cheerleaders, but everyone else was either blue or lower. This meant the school's hierarchy was the stereotypical one, where the popular kids were the hot ones who played sports. And sitting as its queen was Jessica, who lorded over all without a care in the world.

Jessica's story started the same as any other day, the cheerleader driving into school in the new convertible her dad had gotten her. Despite him being a fellow silver band, Jessica could still bed him to her will.

She spotted her favourite parking spot and drove up to it, only to find it was filled by another car. The cars owner was a blue banded girl who had just gotten out, Jessica frowning as she came to a stop. "Go park somewhere else," she told her. The blue band frowned being couldn't refuse. She got into her car and pulled out of the space, off to find someplace else whilst Jessica drove into the spot and parked.

She smiled as she got out of the care and headed for the building, thinking it was gonna be just another perfect day for her.

Oh how wrong she was.
