Jenny pulled into the small parking lot in front of the old motel. She had only been on the road for eight hours but the smoke from a nearby forest fire had caused the police to close the highway. She'd taken the off ramp they waved her down and followed the motel signs to this place. She took a couple of minutes to finish the cell call with her mother, reassuring the worried woman she'd stay the night at the motel and leave in the morning when things had hopefully cleared up. The coed slipped her cute Daisy Duck mask on her face, climbed out of the car, and walked toward the door.

She walked inside and approached the counter. The waiting area had a cheap tile floor and faded wallpaper featuring various trees. Jenny passed a couple of chairs as she walked up to the older man behind the counter. Her best guess was that he was in his early to mid-forties. He was wearing one of those cheap blue paper surgical masks and a button-up plaid red/black shirt. He leaned over the top of the Formica surface as he looked her up and down carefully. She stopped a few feet away and greeted the man.

"Hello!" Jenny offered with as much cheer as she could muster. "I'm on a road trip and they closed the highway because of the smoke. Do you have a room available?" she inquired.

"Sure," Gary replied. "The cabins are $150, doubles are $100 and I have two singles in the back for $75 a night".

"I'm by myself so the single is probably fine," she beamed back at him so happy to find a reasonable price.

"Fantastic!" he replied. "One thing though, the fires are far enough away that we don't have to worry about that but they did take out the fiber line. That means I can only take cash."

Jenny sorted through her purse and counted through the bills inside. "I only have $50," the worried girl mumbled as she counted it out on the countertop.

"Tell you what," Gary chimed in before she could continue. "I'll take the $50 and you can work the rest off. The staff hasn't been able to get out here for a few days and there are all sorts of things you can do to earn the other $25. Is that OK with you?"

Jenny excitedly clapped, "I can clean or something, sure. It can't be harder than my dorm room after a party right?"

He took the money and handed her the key. "Right down the hall and last door on the right," he looked at her quizzically for a moment. "Can I see your ID?" he asked in a deep professional voice. She fished it out of her purse and put it on the counter. He picked it up and made certain the security camera got a good look at it. "Ok, Ms. Song. I'll see you in a couple of hours. The extension on the room phone is #1714. Just pick up the phone, hit that number, and let me know you are ready," he offered as he handed her ID back.

"Sure. Call me Jenny," the grateful girl replied.

"Jenny it is," Gary acknowledged.

The coed put the card in her purse, waved to him, and made her way back to the room. The moment she stepped into the room, Gary locked the front door and turned the 'Full Occupancy' sign on. It could only be seen from the main road and should keep other guests from calling. He rushed back to the office and made his way to the bank of monitors. The eager guy made sure all the 4K cameras in the room were on and set to record. He knew a few folks that would pay top dollar for video of a cute amateur Asian coed and he'd have more than enough of that inside of 24 hrs.
