"Lukas beck, better known by his stage name Lukas wunder, is, in a word, controversial. The forty two year old rock sensation -- famous for hits such as "Das" and "Höllenmelodie" -- has already received heat for comments he made about Germany being "at it's peak of greatness" under Nazi rule. His fans, however, have insisted that the quote was out of context.

But yesterday even his fans were getting their work cut out for them, after the singer was photographed making what appeared to be a nazi salute following his performance at the RockZeit music festival last Friday.

In GIFs created by the Twitterverse, Beck’s unfortunate stiff movement was isolated and shared by users.

"Um, anyone else catch Lukas Beck’s nazi salute?” one user tweeted, while another added, along with a GIF of Beck: “Kind of a weird way for Lukas Beck to end his performance”.

Beck has also been sued several times by the royal family, after repeating a baseless conspiracy theory that the late king George VI had a son before his ****, meaning that said son is the legitimate heir to the throne, and not her majesty queen Elizabeth II.

M Turned off the screen and swiveled in her chair to face Jamie. "So, what do you think?"

"A rather unusual character, although I take it the MI6 hasn't recently been tasked with assassinating anyone who makes racist remarks".

"You guess correctly, Ms. Bond. But as we all know, publicly available information on a person is a notoriously unreliable affair. There is definitely something suspicious about Lukas Beck. Being in a band that plays three or four times a year doesn't exactly rake in the millions of euros he throws away on mansions, boats and girls."

M stood up from her chair and started pacing her office. "What can you tell me, 003, about Pawfect pet foods?" "Pawfect?" the name rang a bell in Jamie's head. "Didn't they go out of business in, say, 2011?"

"Quite indeed 003, although I must admit I didn't expect you to have heard of it. You keep a bitch I assume?" Jamie almost choked on her drink. "Pardon?" She asked, sure she had misheard.

"A bitch, I said. I mean, how else would you have heard of Pawfect? And you've never struck me as a cat person."

"Oh, of course" agent 003 said, realizing that her boss had meant a female dog. "Three, actually."

"So you used Pawfect's dog food till they went out of business?" Seeing Jamie give a slight nod M proceeded to ask "tell me then, how did they react when you, inevitably, had to switch brands following Pawfect's collapse?"

Jamie didn't have to wrack her brains to remember; she couldn't forget those weeks if she tried. "Oh they were a nightmare about it. They wouldn't touch the other brand. Eventually, I guess, survival instinct made them ignore their preferences."

M nodded, then walked over to a shelf of bourbons and refilled her glass."Seeing how much trouble it cost you, you wondered, surely, how such a well established, successful firm suddenly went belly up?"

"Well actually I did try looking into it, but there was absolutely nothing in the papers about it."
