Jade sat in her dorm room all alone, every so often she would hear frantic pacing in the corridor just outside. Nervously she stood up, before shuffling over to the door and grasping at the handle. Gradually she pulled the door toward her, before taking a peek out into the well lit corridor. Her eyes widened in surprise as she watched her room mates eagerly buzz about as they got ready for the Halloween party on campus.

While Jade desperately wanted to go to party, her anxiety had other idea. Now she stood all alone, as the other's began easing themselves into outrageously lewd costumes. A shadow suddenly descended across the corridor as Jade hurriedly closed the door and threw herself onto the bed. Cocking her head to one side Jade could hear the faint click clack of approaching heels. Within a few seconds the click clack came to a stop.

Breathing heavily Jade tried to reassure herself, all seemed quiet. Slowly she parted her pale lips to let out a brief sigh of relief. Suddenly there was a thunderous knock on the door, not wanting to be rude Jade eased herself away from the covers. Jade glanced around anxiously for a few moments before she caught her reflection in a nearby mirror. Jade gazed at her reflection briefly smiling as she carefully brushed a lock of her fiery red hair from out of her emerald green eyes.
