Chapter 4 by generaljiggler generaljiggler

So what's on the agenda? Pop into Sam's room to nap or poke around the house to see what's around?

It will be nice to take a look around.

Feeling like it would be a waste to settle in for a nap straight away Cody thought it would be better to take advantage of his time alone to explore his new home. The advertisement had promised a wide selection of facilities to enjoy and, considering at the sheer size of the house and surrounding property, he had no doubt that it was able to deliver on that promise. With nothing else planned for the afternoon now was the perfect time to seek some of them out.

Perhaps the most appealing to him of the advertised amenities was the full sized outdoor pool. In high school Cody had been quite the accomplished member of the swim team. He even managed to snag a very good scholarship because of it. Cody figured that having a pool at the place he was living would be a fantastic boon as it would let him practice and keep in shape. At the very least it would be a nice way to beat the heat during the warm months. He resolved to investigate that first and made his way outside.

The grounds of Swollen Root were really something to behold. The property must have been at least ten-acres in size and was well cared for. The property, while fenced in for privacy, also boasted a wide array of trees and bushes that kept anyone from seeing into the backyard. Overall it felt more like a private resort than a boarding house but Cody certainly wasn't going to complain.

He was just reaching the edge of the patio surrounding the pool when he heard a splash and noticed two swimmers currently enjoying the water. The two of them were moving through the water as if they were born to it, darting gracefully around each other and from edge to edge in a speed and style that made Cody a little jealous. It was only as he got nearer to the edge of the water that one of them took notice and, with a smile, waved for him to come closer while both swam to the edge to speak with him.

"Oh hi there!" chimed one as she reached the pool's side and looked up to him with a smile from his left.

"Never seen you here before," said the other, joining her company on Cody's other side. "Have a seat and introduce yourself!"

Cody obliged and took a seat by the edge of the water. Looking at the two girls that had swum up to greet him it was clear that they were sisters. In fact it looked like they were identical twins. Both girls looked to be no older than Cody and were perhaps an inch or so smaller. Both had fair features that, if he were to wager a guess, suggested they were of mixed heritage. Likely east Asian mixed with European. If he were being honest he thought they looked beautifully exotic while maintaining a cute personality. The only difference between the two seemed to be their hair color. While both were sporting a short pixie cut style one had dyed her hair a sort of electric blue while the other happily rocked what looked to be a neon pink. Both were wearing identical simple black one piece swimsuits that clung tightly to their skin while they kept float in the water. It was admittedly a little hard for him not to stare at their breasts as they bobbed along the water, a pinch on the small side but by no means flat.

"My name is Cody." He said, realizing he was starting to stare. A small series of giggles came from both.

"Ohhh, you must be the new resident here!"

"That's right! Ms. Viv said we'd be seeing a new face soon. I'm glad it's a cute one!" A pinch of pink hit Cody's cheeks.

"Anyway," spoke blue "My name is April. And this-" she said while pulling her pink haired companion closer "-is my sister, May. You might have noticed that we're twins."

"He has to have noticed. He's been looking us both over since he got here." May giggled out.

Cody coughed a little to clear his throat and try to fight away the obvious embarrassment of having been caught looking. The two only laughed and said it was fine. Can't always be blamed for looking, right? It came as a relief to Cody and he happily shared his reason for stopping by and desire to check out the pool for himself.

"Oh yeah? It'll be nice to have another person to swim with." said May as Cody talked about his history with the swim team. "Most of the residents just splash around for a bit when it's hot out."

"Or sit in the chairs to tan. Really it's just May and I that bother with any -real- swimming. You should join us."

"Oh, er, I don't have my suit with me." Cody replied at the offer. "All of my stuff was delivered to my room and... well, i'm not even sure where that is yet."

"Just strip down to your undies then." chimed in May. "It's what half the people do here. Well, when they aren't swimming nude anyway." The suggestion came as a little bit of a shock. Were the other residents at Swollen Root really that comfortable around each other? He DID want to go for a swim but it's not as if he were fully comfortable with these news girl yet.

Does Cody take the offer to go swimming or does his bashful nature get the better of him?
