It happens so fast you don't know...

You had never considered yourself a drinker really. So the fact that you now stood at the bar getting another round (the eleventh) for the group is quite an accomplishment. You are however a little unsteady on your feet, and you just now realized you have to carry thirteen drinks back to the booths your coworkers occupied.

"Need some help with those?" You hear the female to your left say.

You smile at her, "That would be grand..."

"Grand? That word is still used in that context?" She asks with a giggle as she puts her empty Bud Lite on the bar and then expertly grabs the six bottles of beer and starts weaving through the afterwork crowd.

You quickly grab the rest of the drinks as hr giggle bounces around your head. "I don't see why it shouldn't be used for this context."

"I'm not saying it shouldn't be. It just...I dunno...makes you seem older I guess."

"Hey..." You say in protest, stopping as you see her bend over to place the drinks on the table.

She straightens up and turns around, "Hey what?"
