Invite her over to Dinner

You'd have to call Katherine too see if this was okay, but you didn't think she'd have any problem with it.

"If you'd like, how would you like to join me and Katherine for dinner tonight?" You offer.

"What?" Mercedes asked, a little surprised. "I wouldn't want to impose."

"You wouldn't," you assure. Katherine adored Mercedes, ever since the older woman had helped them plan their wedding. "Katherine would love if you joined us. It'll help get your mind off this for a day."

She thought on that before smiling lightly, "You know, James? That does sound like just what I need. You got yourselves a date." She gave you a hug. You hugged back, trying not to think about how nice those full, heavy breasts of hers felt against your chest.

"No problem, Mrs. Fuentes. You've always looked out for me. Least I can do is promise you a good meal and good company."

"I appreciate that, James. I have to work a little later, but I can be there around 6?"

"That works perfectly." Mercedes had been to the house several times before and needed no directions.

"We'll see you then," you replied with a spring in your step, and then a sudden smack in reality as you realized you now had to tell Katherine they'd be having a guest for dinner. Still, Katherine really looked up to Mercedes as a role model in the business world so you couldn't imagine her being upset by the idea. Still... she'd probably be a little annoyed at the short notice. Better do this now. He put in a quick call to Katherine's cell phone.

"Hey, James! I didn't expect to hear from you so soon today! Can't get enough of my voice already, baby?" She teased.

"Well, that too..."

"That too? What's going on, James?"

"Well... I sorta invited Mercedes over for dinner..."
