Investigate further by "Having Fun"

Now strongly emboldened, I decide to investigate further by experimenting and having some fun with the family; first, I decide to test flexibility to see if they're posable or completely rigid. I decide to take hold of Carol, who's name I found after checking her Driver's License,'s chin and see if I could move her. I'm pleased to report that I was able to move her head left, right,down and finally up, meaning I left her looking up at the celling.

Next, I decide to test if Gravity still works; I got an idea whilst staring at the youngest Daughter's ice cream and I gently peel away her fingers from the cone. I laugh at the sight; the kid is now licking a hovering ice cream! It looks a nice ice cream and I didn't want her to lose it so I close her fingers around it again.

Finally, I decide to test awareness; they may appear to be frozen but how do I not know they weren't just physically frozen. There was the ever present possibility that they could be very much mentally active and were seeing everything I was doing to them which meant, as soon as I released them, they'd immediately report me to the Police!

To test this, I turn to the oldest Daughter who is frozen mid speech. I notice she's wearing a beanie hat which I pull down over her eyes; if, when I start Time again, she doesn't immediately stop and adjust it,I'd know that people were conscious whilst Time was frozen.
