Inspect the Surrounding Pods

You make your way carefully to a nearby pod. There is an amber light winking softly beneath a heavily frosted window. After a quick series of wipes you can see another colonist. The figure is distinctly male with a large beard and seemingly exaggerated features. You squint to find any noticeable signs of thawing or distress. Your mind races as you notice both a light sheen of sweat and the twinkling of frost. The cryopod seems to be alternating between defrost and standard operation. It would be slow, and terribly uncomfortable, but without correction the man would eventually suffer fatal freeze burns. Concerned you turn to check another pod. This one holds a heavyset woman you can only imagine is the wife of the bearded fellow. She also seems to be suffering from the initial effects of destabilized freezing.

You run through your memories and realize these people have around 48 hours before their condition reaches dangerous levels. While nodding to yourself at the realization that time is not extremely critical you notice a green status light four pods from yours. Curiosity tugs at you, and yet it would most likely be prudent to check the computer soon.
