Informative, but confused stories

As they drive Tina explains "So there are two sides to this story, the theory of the beast, and the theory of the bandits" she explains as she drives "See the villagers all claim it is a Chucapabra hunting their herds, they have even tried to hunt it down and found what they claim is its nest" she explains

Samora looks to her confused "so if they found the nest why not storm it with your militia or something... why hire me?" she asks.

"see that is where the other theory comes in, they haven't shown any proof, and all the descriptions don't match up, they describe the beast as being different sizes, different colours and some say it is female others say it is male, one even claims to have been **** by it" Tina says as she smirks "the government thinks they are making it up, they think there is a bandit hideout in the valley that is controlling the villages there and have some sort of bear they use to make the villagers think their is a monster attacking them"

Samora sighs "so again why hire me if you dont think the rumors are true?"

"Simple" Tina says smiling "We want the Villagers to remain calm so we hired you to do two things, first give the villagers a presence that shows we are looking into this, and second, look around, if you think there is Chucapabra then you will do what you were hired to do, kill it and bring it in" she says

"And if there is no beast?" Samora asks

"Then you find out what the sightings are and report back, if it is indeed bandits we can justify a military strike on their camp" she says, Samora nods understanding how this works.
