Information on the first 5 threads

As a rule, the first 5 threads of this story are dedicated to setting up you (the reader) in the role you wish to play in the story. The first thread obviously helps establish the setting, but the other 4 help determine the intended direction. I’d like to ask everyone who wishes to contribute to the story to follow the format as I list it.

The second thread will determine the gender of the character going forward. The options here are pretty small, and are (presently) limited to Male and Female, but writers who want to add dickgirls, furries, etc, can do so here. I will for the most part stick to writing threads under the Male tag, so I will in all likelihood not do much on any additions to the other threads.

The third thread determines the age of the character. The main thing I ask is that there are no duplicate threads for the same age group: when you write a new thread denoting an age group, keep it as vague as feasibly possible so that additional details can be provided in the next set of threads. Since the fourth thread deals with occupation, you can provide any suggestions for the character’s age range and how they can be in a financial position to afford a pretty expensive house and still live relatively comfortable.

The fourth thread, as previously mentioned, deals with the characters occupation. There’s no real restriction on what is or is not allowed so long as it follows the CHYOA Guidelines. The main thing to keep in mind for this particular thread is to explain how the character can afford to buy a 12 Bedroom house and still pay the bills on time. One thing to keep in mind is that while the character makes enough to earn a comfortable living, he or she is far from being obscenely rich. Their main motivation for renting out the additional rooms is to help reduce their financial pressure from keeping up with the bills.

The fifth and final thread in this set establishes that character's sexual preferences. These threads should attempt to convey the type of material a reader should expect going forward: is it a heterosexual male path, or a homosexual male path? Does that male prefer white women? Asian women? Black women? Does he not have a preference regarding race or skin tone? And what are his sexual interests? Is he into BDSM or S&M play? Does he prefer the softer stuff? This thread is meant to help define the character’s sexual identity.

After that, the threads can head in any direction the writer wishes. But these first few threads can make all the difference between a male, heterosexual 30 year old office worker who likes younger women and a male, heterosexual 30 year old office worker who likes MILFs and has a foot fetish.
