Inferno (A Dummy's Guide)

So, you have chosen "The Inferno" to begin your quest to become the ultimate **** of evil. Well, you may be struggling to think on how to go about that. Well, let's discuss how you'll be playing your character and what sort of game you'll be playing, eh?

Your character will be "The Overlord". A Devil of growing power that will one day rule over the firelands of the Hells themselves. As the Overlord, you have choices to make in regards to how you operate and how you fight. These choices comes down to two questions. Destruction or Domination? Chaos or Order?

Magic Types-

Destruction - Your magic is fueled with carnage and pillaging. Destruction and **** fuels your power as you go out and destroy everything around you. Anger, wrath, aggression...primal fury is your weapon of choice and will choose the path of your character and its powers.

Source of Magic - Infernal Embers, byproducts that come from destructive acts...traumatic deaths and carnage gives you the resource you need to perform your powers.

Domination - Servitude strengthens your power. You survive by forcing your will onto others and making them obey your every command. Manipulation, ****, politics...sheer persuasive suave is the ultimate weapon in this world you walk into and will determine the powers you shall wield.

Source of Magic - Servant Lifeforce, for every servant you have, your mana pool increases. As you gain more slaves, you use their life **** to power your magic, though a creature's lifeforce can recuperate.

Ruling Personality-

Chaos - Why would anyone want to be sensible? Do whatever the fuck you want and don't give a damn about the consequences. Sure, you don't get much cohesion with your forces, but you become the driving **** of all life. Evolution, change, political intrigue, weather changes, and so forth...nothing can stay stagnate forever, after all. Change is inevitable, and now you are change.

Order - Structure and drive is the way to solve your problems. Planning, resourcing, and calculating is what it takes to run an army. Things have to be perfect to work properly and that is what you strive for, perfection. Optimization is your tool, and order is your being; your forces will be organized and ready to take any challenge that comes your way.

You may only chose one of each with making your character. Your domain, your forces, and your very character will be shaped by these two choices and it will affect how the game will be played. Choose wisely.

Now, to the main information...the realm itself...

The Inferno:

The Inferno is a land of ashlands, volcanic pits, and dark abysses. It's a dog eat dog world here, with the only structure being in the cities ran by the Devils. The Charred Council is the only body of government, made up by seven of the greatest Devil Lords that are always vying for power from one another. The Demon slaves serve the Devils in the cities, or run wild in the forsaken landscapes. There are many powerful beings here, within and without the cities, though all have a goal to one day infiltrate the land of Aegius and corrupt the land for themselves.

You will find generic demons and devils here of typical species, as well as various rare ones. And even ones that are so tainted with the demonic corruption and power that their physical body changed. Some of the more powerful beings were around since the birth of creation itself, though many are wise to not speak of their own personal life.

For among devils and demons...names carry great power and memories form powerful chains. It would be a great folly, to have another know such personal things.
