Independence

Jessica awakens the next night, after a tumultuous sleep. She takes a deep breath. Jessica has made her decision, and prepares for the difficult night ahead of her.

There is a knock at Jessica's door, and Elizabeth enters. Elizabeth looks down at the bed, where Jessica has tied a blood **** down. The girl is a full-bodied brunnette with stellar breasts. The human is naked, her limbs tied to the posts of the bed. Tears stream down her cheeks.

"You wanted to see me, child?" Elizabeth asks, her curiosity evident.

"Yes....I wanted to apologize" Jessica says meekly. Elizabeth walks to her offspring, her usual gracefulness on display. She cups Jessica's cheek affectionately but her eyes are ice cold.

"Oh?" Elizabeth says, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes. I never should have run away...after the tremendous gift that you shared with me" Jessica says. Elizabeth's face remains expressionless, but her eyes are boring into Jessica.

"I was ungrateful and immature. I see that now. I'm sorry" Jessica says, pausing.

"What else?" Elizabeth asks coldly.

"I'm sorry about Sally. I let her lead me astray, I let her turn me against you" Jessica says, **** back a sob. "I'm sorry I disobeyed you and didn't bring her back to the mansion. I killed her rather than let you have her. I'm embarrassed by my petulant behavior."

There is a silence in the room. Elizabeth is caressing Jessica's cheek, but her facial expression is unchanged.

"Elizabeth....I just want to be at your side again. I have a so much to still learn from you. I want you to teach me again."

Elizabeth slowly smiles. It is not a kindly smile, but the cruel smile of the victor over the vanquished. Jessica has fully surrendered to Elizabeth, and they both know it.

Elizabeth breaks the silence. "But how can I trust you again, Jessica? How do I know that this is sincere?" She asks.

"I know that I should have brought you Sally when you demanded it... And I didn't... I was hoping that we could drain this cow together, and put water under the bridge" Jessica says, "I offer her as a small token of my love for you. We will kill so many more together".

Elizabeth smiles. "A small token indeed... But it's a start" she says. She bends in to kiss Jessica, and the two vampiresses kiss. Elizabeth's tongue pushes into Jessica's mouth. This feels good Jessica thinks.

Elizabeth breaks the kiss. "Where, pray tell, is that mouse Linda that buzzes around you?" Elizabeth asks, her eyes narrowing.

"I sent her back to the basement with the rest of the cattle" Jessica says, marshaling every once of self control to keep her expression neutral. "Catherine convinced me that it was inappropriate for a vampiress to consort with a human like that." Elizabeth regards Jessica suspiciously, cocking her head to the side.

Thinking fast, Jessica blurts out "let's drain her next?" She goes to the intercom, and connecting with one of the thralls on duty. "Please have Linda sent to my room....yes, now.... Yes.... Bound and gagged, thank you."

"Shall we start with this one?" Jessica asks, gesturing at the girl on the bed. "Let's drain this one to take the edge off, so that we can savor Linda." The vampiresses strip and climb on the bed.

The human girl turns her head to Jessica. "Please don't do this...I have a family" the girl says, half crying. Elizabeth chuckles but watches Jessica intently to gauge her response.

"Shut up, cow" Jessica says, slapping the human. "You are only food. Food is meant to be eaten. I'll eat your family next." Elizabeth grins wickedly, aroused by the cruelty on display.

No reason to procastinate, Jessica thinks. She bends, cupping the girl's breast in her hand and biting into the soft flesh. The girl cries out. Jessica is careful to bite shallowly, avoiding major blood vessels. Some blood trickles into her mouth, but she fights the urge to swallow.

Elizabeth follows, biting into the girl's inner thigh. Elizabeth feeds greedily on the bound human squirming beneath them. Jessica's mouth is tingling slightly. There is a knock on the door, and a dejected Linda is brought into the room by a thrall. She is nude, with her hands bound behind her back. The thrall roughly pushes her to kneel, her hand on Linda's shoulder. "You can leave" Jessica commands, and the thrall bows her head and exits.

The human captive has lost consciousness from Elizabeth's unrestrained feeding, and at this rate will likely expire in a few minutes.

Elizabeth sits up on the bed, the girl's blood covering her face. She clutches her throat. Jessica can see small wisps of smoke come from Elizabeth's mouth as she gasps. By this point, Jessica's own mouth is burning.

"Something... Something's not right" Elizabeth croaks hoarsely. "Bring me Linda" she says, wildly gesticulating at the kneeling human, "I need clean blood".

Jessica gets off the bed, and rinses her burning mouth with a glass of water from the bedside table, spitting onto the floor. Ah, much better she thinks as the burning subsides. Elizabeth is clawing at her throat, small holes appearing in her neck, her cheeks, as if corroded by acid.

"What... What did you do, Jessica?" Elizabeth says in a panic.

Jessica reaches into the drawer of her bedside table and withdraws a small bottle and a syringe. "Colloidal silver. A lot of it. It's in your bloodstream now."

Elizabeth's eyes narrow. She lunges at Jessica, but has become too weak and tumbles to the floor.

"You couldn't just leave me be. You had to control me, Elizabeth. Was it worth it, bringing me back?" Jessica says.

"You ungrateful bitch....I gave you everything" Elizabeth croaks, her gorgeous face disfigured by open sores. Jessica takes opens the bottle and throws the rest of the silver on Elizabeth. Elizabeth shrieks in agony, her skin burning.

"Goodbye, Elizabeth" Jessica says, as Elizabeth writhes painfully on the floor.

Jessica lifts Linda to her feet and kisses her. "I did this for us, so that we could be together" Jessica says. Linda looks terrified. "We'll figure out clothes later, but we need to get out of here."

Jessica and Linda lift Elizabeth's body and put her in the closet. She is still squirming, but Jessica doesn't think that she has long. They quietly leave the room, closing the door behind them.

Jessica finds Carmilla in the study. Jessica knows that Charlotte, Miko and Catherine were out attacking a hostel, so the mansion was relatively empty. Diana and Jade were somewhere, but one thing at a time.

"Carm, we're leaving now. Do you and Laura want to come with us?" Jessica asks hurriedly?

"Leaving? You can't. Not again. Elizabeth will rip you limb from limb" Carmilla says, confused.

"Elizabeth won't be a problem" Jessica replies vaguely.

Carmilla's eyes go wide. "Oh my God.... What did you do Jessica?" Carmilla says in horror. Jessica says nothing. This is not going how I had hoped she thinks.

"Jessica, what the fuck did you do?" Carmilla shrieks. She leaps out of her chair, pinning Jessica to the wall by the throat. Tears begin to well in Jessica's eyes. Carmilla drops Jessica, and in a blur is up running out of the room.

Shit, we won't have much time now Jessica thinks. She grabs Linda's hand and heads for the garage. "We need to get out of here now" she says to the frightened Linda.

They pass an attractive blood **** dusting in one of the corridors. I'm starving and I need my strength. Jessica grabs the girl by the back of the neck and bites deeply into the girl's throat. The human shrieks. Blood pours into her mouth. She doesn't have time to savor it, drinking deeply and quickly. The human girl passes out, and Jessica slings the girl over her shoulder. I'll need more blood later she thinks.

Jessica hears a commotion upstairs. Yelling. Shit, we need to get out of here she thinks. Jessica and Linda run into the garage. They grab a set of keys off the wall, finding an Infiniti sedan. Jessica throws the **** girl in the trunk.

They drive carefully out of the garage, peeling down the driveway. In the rearview mirror, Jessica sees Jade chasing them. Gaining on them. Jessica decides to take a risk. She slows down a bit, letting Jade gain on the them. When Jade is close, Jessica throws the car into reverse and floors it. They hit Jade with a thunk, and the wheels roll over her. There is a sickening snapping sound.

With the adrenaline subsiding, Jessica has a moment to truly contemplate her victory. I defeated her!

Jessica places a hand on Linda's naked thigh, squeezing. Linda's hand rests on top of Jessica's. Jessica and Linda drive on into the night in silence, free.
