In the tub

You walk up stairs and find it very quiet. You still see moms car in the driveway, so she probably hasn't left. You walk done the hallway towards moms bedroom. Her door is slightly cracked and can see the light from her bedroom out into the dark hallway. You walk towards her doorway. You can hear the water slashing in the bathtub.

You push the door open a little. " mom ? Are you in here "

" yes I'm just soaking in the tub, you can come on in " she replys

You walk in and she is laying down in the full tub, filled with bubbles and only the top of her knees and her shoulder and head exposed.

" are you hungry ? Do you wanna go out and eat or just stay home ? " mom inquires

" let's just stay in tonight, I just wanna relax " you say

You continue a conversation for a few more minutes.

" okay I'm gonna get out now, can you hand me that towel on the back of the door.

You reach for the gray towel on the back of the door and hand it back to her.

You begin to walk out the door.
