I suppose I'll eat here

You may as well eat here, taking your tray you go through the lines to get your breakfast, an omelette and toast, and look around for a quiet corner to eat in. The tables are all full except one, with a lone girl sitting there. You sigh again, not wanting any socialization. As you get closer you realize how stunningly beautiful she is, then it occurs to you. That's the same girl from the lounge! now you know you are going to make a fool of yourself if she tries to talk to you. “Umm… Ex-excuse me, is this seat t-taken?” you ask shakely. She looks up glaring, then a smile spreads across her face, almost devious. “No, you may sit,” she says imperiously. “Thank you,” you sit and begin eating quietly. “You're the boy who ran from the lounge! Don’t be so nervous, I don’t bite.” she winked, “My name is Lily, and you are?”

“M-Marc…” you stammer.

The two of you talk for a bit, it’s mostly her, but you speak when requested.

“You need to relax, why don’t stop by my room after classes for a drink?” At these words wild ideas race through your mind. Does she think I’m cute? Could I get lucky tonight? “Play it cool.” you tell yourself, a rather cliché thought. “S-sure! Why not, I could use a drink.” you say as smooth as you can manage.

You spend the remainder of the day under a spell of euphoria and excitement until your last class ends and you head back to get cleaned up for the night
