I must not create FATE

Lucca: I know logically I should go ahead and create this computer, but I can't let my friends die because of me. Please make it so i'm not asked to create it.

Gaspar: If that's your choice, I will make it so. But i'm sorry to hear that your decision is so cold-hearted.

Lucca: It's not cold-hearted. You don't know how strong Crono, Marle and I are. With enough work and my brains, I think we can beat these dragon 'gods'. Even if we can't, we have strong allies from everywhere in time. If a computer can keep them sealed, we can beat them. Therefore, FATE won't be needed.

Gaspar: I see. You seem to have all this figured out!

Lucca: They don't call me Lucca the Great for nothing! Ho ho ho ho ho!
