I accidentaly insult the Darvin delegation, and so, they curse me.

As the negotiations began, the first order of the day was about the prisoners of war in either side. As it was customary for both kingdoms, the nobles and other major figures captured in the war, would be exchanged in ransom in either side, as it was dictated by the sacred code of Honorius, that defined the rules of war for much of the populance in the old world.

That however, meant that the average soldier or grunt was often excluded from the deal, and that meant that either side could do whatever they saw fit with them, whatever it was to execute them, or to sell them to slavery.

As i actually participated in the war as a witness of it, i couldn't stand that anymore, and so i suggested that maybe we could extend the deal for most if not all of the soldiers captured. Which, suprisingly even to me, they actually accepted it.

"Well, considering that we've a shortage of able bodied men right now, i fully embrace her suggestion", the queen of the Darvin said, upon which, it got added to the treaty. Upon which, they clapped at him, for my clever suggestion.

"Good job Luna, you're sure going to be a great diplomat", said Fer, a fellow Caledonian princess, and a close friend of mine.

And so, with that, the rest of the negotiations came and went, as i, my classmates, my teacher, and our Darvin counterparts, negotiated the peace deal that would end the war between our kingdoms, with me making sometimes more suggestions from time to time, which got accepted most of the time !.

But then, we arrived at a touchy subject, the definition of the new borders, or rather, what areas would be anexed by Caledonia as we actually won the war.

Despite the obvious tension within both parties, reason and calmness remained, as we all agreed on a new border that did both recognize Caledonian claims, yet left most of Hiberns intact, and it was neaty too, except from one small part, and that was the existence of a huge exclave of Hiberns within the new Caledonian borders, that frankly, looked awful.

"ehh, why aren't we anexing this one bit ?", i asked to my senior diplomat in confusion.

"What do you mean Luna ?", he asked.

"I mean, that exclave looks awful on the map, coudn't we just take it so the map doesn't look bad", i replied accidentaly in a loud voice, upon which, they all looked at me.

"What did you said ?!!", replied the queen of the darvin in a annoyed tone.

"ehh..., i was just talking about that bit on the map,... i mean it's just a bit of empty mountains, i'm sure that you could do just fine without it...", i explained nervously as i didn't want to offend them.

"That bit of empty mountains that you're talking about, is the holy spring of Caelus, the second holiest place in our cult and also my birth place!!", she said in a rather angry tone.

"i,...i,..i..sorry..,.i.didn't..meant to offend you at all..", i said as i struggled to apologize because of the nervousness.

"Oh yeah, then you're sure to regret this!!", she yelled angrily as she casted a curse on Luna, as it is customary to people who offend you in Hiberns.

"I'm sorry,....aghhhhg", i yelled as the curse hit me and left me on the floor.

"Luna!!!, are you okay ?!", said Fer as she checked my body in the floor.
