An hour later we meet in the restroom of hotel lobby across the street. The exchange is brief. I had put the thong into a clean sandwich baggie to preserve its value. I had taken a quick sniff, but knowing that I was giving it away greatly diminished the thrill.
Tom looked thrilled enough for both of us.
“That ought to help with your voodoo doll project.” He nodded, only half listening. “Say... if the avenging angel comes up with a new devious plan...”
