I'm lost.

I have to be honest, after a youth spent in Sheepmeadows and a one time trip to the capital travelling isn't my speciality. The map I have is either badly made or too old.

I have no idea where I am. Gnash isn't of any help and I haven't seen anyone for days.

The path I was following is fading and in front of me lay wild, untamed forest. Going back will only make me get lost two ways and drive me away from my goal. The mountains are in view, so close yet so far when there are still miles of Sylvanian woods between them and me.

{If Viviane dead = 1} Despite all my care my wounds have become slightly infected, the slight fever might be the reason I got lost. Or maybe it was my mind, wandering on the memories of my beloved Viviane. I was in a hurry to get away from the elves who when they will discover what I did will probably hunt me.

I have to reach the mountains, here they won't follow. The treaty they signed after the last war forbid them to go there just as it forbids the dwarves to enter the Sylvanian forest. {endif}

Thankfully the large silhouette of Gnash had been useful in keeping most small but aggressive creatures away.

Keeping an eye on the mountains through the canopy is a good way to know I'm still on the right direction.

{If Keldrin crystals = 1} After a few hours I can feel the small crystal I bought from the peddler get warm in my pocket. I get it out and it is glowing of a green light.

I get a small string and tie it on the stone, holding it like a pendulum I cast a small spell on it.

"Lux inveniet Magia" I chant, the light of the stone will show me a source of power in these woods.

The moves of the pendulum and the glowing light are clear, there is something powerful nearby.
