Chapter 6 by PhoenixAuthor PhoenixAuthor

The adventure continues...

House Woodsen

Skye Willows pulled Zack’s shirt off her head and opened the closet of Zack’s cousin, Paris.

Inside was a bunch of dresses and corsets. Oh no. Skye had hated the uniform at the Knight Club, and this was a more elaborate version of that.

Screw this. She rifled around Paris’ things until she found medieval bras and panties. The bras were odd looking. They were basically like crop tops. Linen-like material formed the cups of the ‘bra’, and then silk ran down to about the bottom of the ribcage, Skye had to assume. She pulled on the odd bra.

It was clear she was bustier than Paris, as her tits were a little cramped in the bra, but it was better than them bouncing around with every step.

She then pulled on the silky panties, which were unflattering to say the least, but the silky material wasn’t half-bad.

Now clothed in undergarments, Skye returned to the closet and pulled out a violet dress. With some difficulty, she got into it.

It wasn’t a corseted dress, which was partially why she had picked it. Like with the bra, you could clearly tell that Paris was a smaller girl than Skye. Her breasts strained the velvety material, and her hips flared out almost as much as her obscene Knight Club tavern wench costume.

Ah, well. It would have to do.

Skye went over into Zack’s room, and found him studying a map.

“What are you looking at?” Skye wondered. Zack looked her way, and his eyes lingered a little bit on her bust.

“Ahem.” Skye cleared her throat. Zack startled.

“Right, right. Um, I was looking at a map of the nearby area.” Zack said, looking embarrassed. Truthfully, Skye wasn’t at all upset with Zack. He’d saved her from being tortured, so he could ogle her all he wanted, but she wasn’t going to tell him that.

“Anything interesting?” Skye wondered.

“I guess. The property that my family owns is huge. They have a lake, and there’s whole mess of roads leading around.” Zack explained.

“How far is it to the others?” Skye asked curiously.

“Well, Brandon and Ashley are both at House Woodsen, which is pretty far on foot. Chloe’s at House McRose, which is even further. I have no idea where Heather is, maybe a House Ravers? But I can’t find that on any maps. Trent is at House Thornton, which is pretty small and off here to the east.” Zack pointed, “And there’s no House Rivera, so I don’t have a clue where Lisa is.”

Skye didn’t really know any of those people, but it was a small town, and she did know everybody’s name.

“Alright. So, we should probably go to House Woodsen last, right? Because there’s two people there, so they can help each other.” Skye suggested.

“Oh. I was going to head there first, because there was two people there.” Zack blinked. Skye laughed.

“Alright, sure. I don’t think it matters, your friends all seem like capable people. They’re probably trying to get to you just like you’re trying to get to them.” Skye mentioned.

“That’s probably true.” Zack realized.

“So, it’s up to you where we go next.” Skye shrugged. She didn’t know these people well, so she’d let him choose who to go after.

“We should go to Ashley and Brandon. There’s safety in numbers.” Zack said quickly. Skye squinted at Zack.

“Are you into Ashley? The two of you seemed pretty close in the Knight Club, and she was the only girl to jump up and hug you.” Skye guessed.

Zack’s cheeks reddened.

“No, I’m not into Ashley. She’s just my friend.” Zack said firmly. Skye didn’t believe a word of that bullshit, but she didn’t push the matter.

“Ok. So, how are we getting to House Woodsen?” Skye asked.

“Horse drawn carriage?” Zack shrugged.

“I’m a criminal, remember? It’s not like you can just call up a carriage Uber to transport a fugitive.” Skye rolled her eyes.

“True. But my family owns carriages. We could just take one of those.” Zack reminded Skye.

“Oh. Guess that makes sense.” Skye mumbled.

Zack chuckled.

———

Zack and Skye left the manor and headed across the grounds. They nearly escaped without being seen, but then a voice called his name.

“Zachary!”

“Shit.” Zack muttered. He glanced at Skye.

“Go on ahead. Get in a carriage.” Zack said, and she nodded, hurrying towards the carriages. Zack turned to see his father storming towards him.

“Did you think I wouldn’t find out?” his father raged.

“I’m sorry, but-” Zack tried desperately, but his father scoffed.

“I’ve told you time and time again, you are not permitted to go into my private pool, but what do I find? My private pool key missing!” Gregory Bishop thundered. The terror in Zack’s chest eased massively.

He pulled out the key ring and handed it to his father.

“I’m sorry.” Zack said, and his father rolled his eyes and walked off.

Zack waited a few seconds and then dashed to the carriages.

“Zack!” Skye called from one of the carriages, poking her pretty face out the window. Zack jumped up onto that carriage, and realized abruptly that there were no horses on it. Damn.

“I don’t know how to secure a horse to the carriage!” Zack called to Skye.

“Do you need help, my lord?” a voice came. Zack jumped.

“Yes, Madison, yes, I do.” Zack said in relief.

“Where are you headed?” Madison asked as Zack jumped down from the driver’s seat of the carriage.

“House Woodsen.” Zack said truthfully. Madison nodded.

“I’ll get you set up, then.” she smiled.

———

It was about an hour later that Zack and Skye’s carriage rolled up to House Woodsen.

“So... how infamous do you think I am? Do I have to sneak around here, or did I just steal from your dad?” Skye asked.

“Not a clue.” Zack shrugged.

“Eh, I’ll take the risk.” Skye said. Zack and Skye’s carriage pulled to a stop, and Zack nodded at the driver as he and Skye disembarked.

“Um... can you wait here?” Zack asked the driver, who nodded.

“Of course, Lord Zachary.” the driver bowed.

“Onwards we go, then.” Zack said to Skye, and the two walked to the front door and knocked. It opened to reveal a tiny girl who looked to be probably like 22, just a little younger than Taylor.

She had blond hair, silvery eyes, and was absolutely tiny. If Zack had to guess, she was just under 5 ft, like, 4’11, maybe.

“Hello, Lord Zachary of House Bishop. My name is Lucy, and I serve House Woodsen. How can I help you today?” she asked politely.

“I’m looking for Lady Ashley.” Zack said. Lucy looked between him and Skye, looking suspiciously at the latter.

“She’s my...” Zack trailed off.

“Lover.” Skye said, and planted a kiss on Zack’s lips. It was a quick one, barely more than a brush of lips, and assuredly just for show, but it stunned Zack.

“I see. Will she be joining you in your visit?” Lucy asked politely. It was clear what answer she was hoping for.

“Yes, she will.” Zack said firmly, taking on the self-importance of Lord Zachary.

“Understood, sir. I’ll go and see if Lady Ashley is available for visitors. Would you like to sit in the parlor and have some tea while you wait?” Lucy offered.

“We can wait out here. I like the fresh air.” Zack said, and Lucy gave a nod and walked off swiftly.

“You kissed me?” Zack asked incredulously.

“Oh, don’t look at me like that! I was selling the story. If I’d pecked you on the cheek like your mother it wouldn’t really sell the story, would it?” Skye huffed.

“I guess that makes sense.” Zack admitted.

“Besides, don’t pretend like you didn’t like it.” Skye teased.

“I’m not pretending anything!” Zack protested.

“Really?” Skye asked dryly.

“Really! Did I say I didn’t enjoy it?” Zack questioned. Skye looked surprised at Zack’s reveal, and truthfully, he was, too.

Maybe it was everyone calling him ‘my lord’. That was bound to be a confidence boost.

Skye opened her mouth to respond to Zack, but the door opened and Lucy stepped out.

“Lady Ashley will see you both.” Lucy bowed to Zack.

“Thank you.” Zack said, and Lucy led him and Skye silently through House Woodsen.

“Lord Zachary.” a voice said, as familiar to him as his own sister’s voice. Zack turned to see Hannah Woodsen standing there, looking like he had NEVER seen her.

Rather than shoulder length blond hair and tight, revealing clothes, she had long blond hair streaming down her right shoulder in elegant curls, long enough to fall down past her breasts. She wore a long, beautiful golden gown, which was anything but tight and revealing. It fit her perfectly, making her look beautiful but not sexy.

“Lady Hannah.” Zack said in the same curt tone of voice as she’d used.

“It’s lovely to see you. Tell me, how is Lady Taylor?” Hannah questioned.

“She is well.” Zack guessed. He hadn’t yet seen Taylor in this reality.

“I am glad to hear that. How does she fare in regards to her betrothal?” Hannah asked curiously. Zack blinked.

“She’s making the best of it.” Zack said, hoping that was the right response.

Hannah gave a small nod.

“I can understand that. Tell her I send my love whenever you next see her.” Hannah said politely.

“I will.” Zack inclined his head, and Lucy started leading them to Ashley again.

“That was so weird!” Zack hissed to Skye, who nodded.

“She was so polite and well-mannered.” Skye agreed quietly.

Lucy knocked on a door, and it was opened quickly by Ashley. Zack’s eyes widened at the sight of his friend.

She wore a silver tiara glistening with a blue gem on her head and her blond hair streamed down in an elegant waterfall of curls. She wore a red dress that showed off her shoulders and a surprising amount of cleavage for a medieval dress. The red dress had silver trim and flattered her figure, pressing together her smaller breasts to accentuate them.

“Lord Zack.” Ashley greeted politely, but the wide-eyed relief in her eyes spoke volumes. She was the real Ashley.

“Lady Ashley.” Zack nodded.

“Leave us, Lucy.” Ashley nodded at the petite servant girl. Lucy bowed swiftly and left down the corridor.

Ashley beckoned Zack and Skye into her bedroom, and when Skye closed the door, Ashley threw her arms around them.

“Wait, it is you guys, right?” Ashley checked.

“Yeah, it’s us. From the real world.” Zack said, and Ashley hugged him and Skye again.

“Thank God. I was so terrified. I woke up here in a huge bathtub with Lucy Cross massaging my... well, that’s not important.” Ashley blushed. Skye audibly tried not to laugh.

“Yeah, we had some weird wake-ups on our end, too.” Zack mentioned.

“How’d you guys wake up?” Ashley asked, clearly eager to hear the story.

“I woke up naked in Greg Bishop’s freaking dungeon.” Skye said. Ashley’s eyes widened, and she looked to Zack.

“Do I have to say?” Zack winced.

“I’d say so.” Skye piped up.

Zack hesitated.

“Oh, just say it. How bad can it be?” Ashley rolled her eyes. Zack gave a weak chuckle.

“I woke up naked in bed with Paris. Post-sex.” Zack said quietly. Ashley and Skye both looked thunderstruck.

“Is that kind of thing... normal here?” Ashley asked in a disturbed voice.

“No clue. My Aunt Louise seemed fine with it though.” Zack said, looking pointedly at Ashley.

“She’s alive?” Ashley gasped.

“Yeah, she is. I thought about it, and it kind of makes sense, though, doesn’t it? She died in a car crash, and cars aren’t a thing here.” Zack pointed out.

“Sorry, I feel like we’re glossing over the **** thing really quickly.” Skye mentioned.

“Yeah, I’m never going to be able to look at Paris the same way when we get back.” Zack admitted. Ashley made a sympathetic sound.

“Is there a way back, though?” Skye wondered.

“I have no clue.” Zack shrugged.

“Me neither. I mean, we got here through a nightclub. Those weren’t a big thing in medieval times, to my knowledge.” Ashley said.

“Yeah. Have you found Brandon? Medieval Madison told me that he worked here.” Zack said.

“I asked about Brandon. Turns out, he disappeared three days ago.” Ashley said.

“Well before we landed in these bodies. How does a servant just disappear?” Zack wondered.

“Not-Hannah told me that she thinks Not-Brandon ran off after Not-Dad beat him.” Ashley reported.

“Add that to the to-do list, then.” Zack grumbled.

“How long’s the to-do list?” Ashley asked worriedly.

“We still need to track down Chloe, Heather, Trent, and Lisa, and now Brandon, too.” Zack sighed.

“Plus find a way out of this twisted world.” Skye volunteered.

“A lot to do, then. Should we split up?” Ashley suggested.

“Haven’t you ever watched a horror movie?” Skye demanded. Zack and Ashley shook their heads no.

“Are you serious?” Skye asked incredulously.

“I prefer fantasy or sci-fi.” Zack shrugged.

“Of course you do.” Skye shook her head.

“Well, we have a lot to do. The longer we’re here, the more worried our friends and families in the real world will be.” Zack said, “Maybe splitting up would be smart.”

“Besides, this isn’t a horror movie. It’s more like a fantasy movie, actually.” Ashley spoke up.

“Fine. You two can split up all you want.” Skye waved a hand.

“Well... I figured we’d split up by you going on your own and Zack and I sticking together.” Ashley admitted.

“Why?” Skye wondered.

“You’re six years older than us?” Zack reminded her.

“Fine. I’ll go find your ex, Zack. You two enjoy your romantic quest.” Skye snapped, and walked out of the room in a huff.

Zack and Ashley exchanged awkward looks, their cheeks a little red at Skye’s words.

“So... Chloe next, then?” Zack asked awkwardly.

“Surprised you didn’t go for her first.” Ashley said, her cheeks still a little rosy.

“You were closer.” Zack shrugged.
