Hotel

You are on a business trip staying at a fine hotel casino in Las Vegas. You are not there to gamble so you go to bed early. After you have rinsed off in the shower, you think to put your finished supper tray out in the hall, so no one will distrub your sleep. While you are naked, you figure no one will see you as you set the tray out in the hallway.

With one foot keeping the door open, you streatch to reach the cluttered food cart piled with other trays parked in the hallway. You extend your arm holding the tray and see you are so close. But now as the tray tilts, you see dishes start to slide to the side. You quickly need both hands to avoid the clatter of broken dishes, so you inch forward a little more and catch the dishes from falling. But then you hear the sickening click as the door shuts behind you. You hurry to set the tray on the cart and try the door handle to discover you are locked out.

Then you hear a ding from the elevator at the end of the hallway.
