Holy smiting

Matt wasted little time, and quickly pulled at his power within and cast it toward the demon. Little physical action took plus other than a lifting an arm toward the demon and exhaling sharply as he let loose. But, in his mind and soul he felt like he had just spiked a volleyball with all his ****.

For a split second nothing happened, then the demon stopped moving, Matt heard an audible crunch over the sounds of the cars passing. The demon's eye turned wild toward Matt. Matt clenched his fist, pouring more power into the smite, and the demon turned into a fine mist of black blood.
