His bitch of a boss is trying to get him fired

As it turned out when I interviewed him Mr. B was in a real pickle of a problem. His new boss, Ms. Black, while being a very sweet piece of ass was trying to ruin him. She had come about her position by underhandedly blackmailing his former supervisor, Mr. Whitely, into naming her as his successor. Now she was working on disposing of Mr. B. She couldn't just fire him as his track record with the accounting firm was far too good, but she was doing everything in her power to put him on the outs with them. So far she had alienated him from most of the staff by spreading rumors that he had gotten his last personal assistant pregnant and that’s why she had left. In truth she had gotten a better job at a more prestigious firm and owed it all to Mr. B's glowing letter of recommendation. Because of this he was moved to an office buried way back, out of the sight of everyone else and was getting only the worst and least desired clients. She was going to find some way to get him canned. He was sure of it because she had come right out and told him as much.

He needed help and I was his last chance.
