What next?
His Perspective: Continue with the day
She said she had to go. He smiled warmly and hugged her, then she was gone, leaving him in the shower alone. He bathed, taking his time, then went back into his bedroom to dress. When he reached the room, she was nowhere to be seen.
He dressed, then sat, contemplating what to do next. The days often blended together. There was no use for work, if one didn't desire to do it. People did what they wanted and nothing else. They painted and lay on the beach, surfed and skied. It was one lifelong summer vacation, the perfect retirement resort.
Boring, he thought. Who would have guessed that the perfect world would be so dull?
"What to do?" He muttered.
"Perhaps, John Doe, you might wish to exercise," Tina suggested. He'd named his little mechanical version of a permanent nanny Tina, after his first overnagging girlfriend in the real world. Odd how he missed her from the inside.
Execise, he thought, why not?
