Together with Gyda, Tjorvi carefully sunk down into the water and disappeared out of sight behind the rocks. The two of them sat together in silence as they heard the Anglo-Saxon women speak to each other. Tjorvi was trying his best to understand some of the words, but he had never heard such language before. Patiently, the two Vikings waited until no more splashing of water nor voices could be heard and then got out of their hiding spot. They decided that it would be best to head back to the camp and see what was going on there.
